It matches perfectly with first courses with rich sauces, such as pappardelle with wild boar, red meat, and seasoned cheeses. Ideal also for a Fiorentina steak.

It’s ruby red color evolves to a quite strong garnet color. Contains a complex and characteristic bouquet with a mature fruit aroma, notes of black pepper, and prune jam, and a floral note of violet, cigar, and dark chocolate aromas. Well-balanced on the palate and with sweet tannins that combine with the correct acidity to create a long-lasting finish.

GASTRONOMY

This wine is perfectly suited for traditional recipes of Tuscany, especially red and braised meat, soups like “Pappa col Pomodoro” and mushroom dishes.
