Intense garnet red. Characterized by notes of morello cherry, it opens up into a crescendo of ribes, cocoa, and violet, accompanied by a goudron finish. In the mouth, it presents a strong structure with a full and persistent aftertaste, elegant tannins, and a soothing warm note.

Cannubi is certainly the most important Cru in the Barolo appellation, already mentioned in the monograph by Lorenzo Fantini at the end of the 19th century as a “very select Cru”. The historic bottles of Cannubi from 1952 found in our cellars have prompted Bersano, after 70 years, to return to being the protagonist of this iconic denomination.
